What has been the weirdest or most difficult part of this time for you and your family?: The most difficult part of this time is a combination of not being able to spend time with our friends and families, since we're usually very social and value that time above all else, and our general concern and worry for our friends and loved ones at this uncertain time.

Additionally, we're supposed to get married in June, and wedding planning has been difficult because we don't know what the circumstances will be like or if the wedding will happen. At a time when we should be excited about the countdown to wedding day, it's mostly been a source of stress, worry, and sometimes, sadness. (But we have resolved to get married on our date no matter what, even if we have to postpone the party!)

What is your silver lining? What have you been enjoying about these days at home?: Above all, honestly, we're just so happy to have each other at this time. Everything is better with the other, and having each other somehow makes this all bearable. I think it will only strengthen our resolve as a couple and team. My fiance, Melvin usually has quite a long drive to and from work, so getting to spend more time with him has been lovely.

We've also been quite active, getting out every day for a walk around town. We've enjoyed the Ave., Newton Lake, and Knight's Park. We've walked through neighborhoods and picked out our dream houses to buy some day. The sunshine, the signs of spring in the blooming trees, and the fresh air have been refreshing for us at this time.

Why is this time meaningful for you to document?: With the unprecedented and uncertain nature of everything right now and with our wedding in the balance, it would be nice to have a moment in time captured to mark this crazy (but somehow also beautiful) time. It will always be a reminder for us in our married life of this house, our porch, and what we got through together.

What do you love most about Collingswood?: Everything. We love the community, being in walking distance to parks and the Ave, and having access to the train with the benefits of a small town. We really love our town; it's part of our love story. We even chose Collingswood for the backdrop of our engagement photo shoot and had so much fun capturing all of our favorite places.
