What has been the weirdest or most difficult part of this time for you and your family?: On one hand I feel like nothing's changed, and on the other I feel like we have fallen into an alternate universe overnight. The most difficult part is that when this is "over" things will never be the same as before. I'm just trying to remain hopeful that things will shift for a better future for our kids.
What is your silver lining? What have you been enjoying about these days at home?: I don't even know how to answer this. I started to write “eating food “, lmfao what ?!?! I quickly passed the torch to John as a stay at home parent. So that's nice? I'm also honored that so many families are making a fully informed choice and switching to homebirth, very excited to work with the many new families that recently hired me.
Why is this time meaningful for you to document?: I have never in my life been anxious. Every day feels like 900 hours. But before all this shit went down I felt like it was one of the best times of my life. So mostly just to capture this weird warped reality I feel like I'm in.
What do you love most about Collingswood?: The community! I love just walking around in the spring and summer and seeing families I know at the playground and farmers market.
