STEP ONE: SAVE THE DATE
Ready to book your wedding? Awesome! Have lots of questions? I’m here! I can’t wait to meet you and learn more about your wedding plans. Let’s connect, tell me about the one you love, and pick my brain about wedding planning. When you’re ready, I’ll send over the agreement to save your date. Typically, my couples book 18 - 6 months in advance (but there are no rules!). Let’s connect so I can save your date!
STEP TWO: BOOKING
A 30% retainer + signed contract is due to book your date. After we make things official, I offer consultations and guidance throughout the planning process. You never need to hesitate to reach out with a wedding question, vent, or gather vendor recommendations. Together, we will customize a timeline for your day to take some stress out of planning. Which part of your wedding day are you most looking forward to?
STEP THREE: ENGAGEMENT SESSION
I love including a complimentary engagement session so we can get to know each other a bit before your big day. This helps you get used to my shooting style, and I get to learn more about what makes your love unique. My goal is for this session to feel like a date, where I'm just tagging along. Some past couples have gone to a brewery, went hiking, wandered around the city, or relaxed at home. Once you book, we'll narrow down the location and pick a date. What is your ideal date night?
STEP FOUR: ALL THE DETAILS
I’ll send over a lengthy worksheet that gets into all of the tiny but important details of your day. We’ll go over addresses, family portrait lists, and all of the special decor and details that you’ve been planning. A few weeks prior to your wedding, we’ll have a call or two to chat about everything and put your mind at ease. This prepares me for your day, so when it arrives, I have no questions and I know the people and details that mean the most to you. Who are you most excited to see on your wedding day?
STEP FIVE: WEDDING DAY
My gear is packed and ready, you’re relaxing and getting ready with your favorite people - let’s do this! While my objective is to document your day in the most authentic and beautiful way possible, I’m also focused on making sure you have the best day. Need a drink? I got you. Want to spend less time on portraits and more time snacking and laughing at cocktail hour? Absolutely! This is your day, and all of the planning you did is about to pay off. Now, let’s get you married!

I strongly believe in photographing the important moments of your life to preserve moments with your loved ones that you will never experience again in the exact same way. That being said, I know that wedding photography is an investment. I never want cost to be the only reason a couple decides not to reach out, so if that is a factor, please let me know and we can discuss other package options or payment plans. I'm always open to talking candidly about pricing and I don't want the booking process to ever feel overwhelming or unapproachable.

+ Are you licensed and insured?
Absolutely. I'd be happy to provide proof of coverage.
+ How far in advance do you book weddings?
Typically, couples initially inquire 9-15 months before their wedding date. But I'm finding that after the year we've had, anything goes when it comes to when people decide to book. No matter the timeline, I'm always happy to check availability and chat!
+ How would you describe your photography style?
I aim for my images to vibrantly and beautifully tell the story of your day. No awkward posing. Lots of real emotion. I aim for a timeless editing style that feels true to life and enables you to relive your favorite day.
I'm ALWAYS looking for the most special moment in the room - small glances, big laughs, quiet conversations with grandparents. I also aim to make sure that everyone at your event has been documented (multiple times!). I know how important they all are to you.
I view my clients as friends. It's important to me that you have the very best time and feel comfortable to be yourself.
+ What do you think distinguishes your work from that of other photographers?
In short, I don't want your day to feel like a photo shoot. I like to get creative, but I'd rather document beautiful authentic moments, than create them. Wedding days goes by so quickly and it's so important to me that you have the space to get swept up in emotion and enjoy every second with the people you love. I truly care about my couples and will go out of my way to make your day as stress-free and gorgeous as possible.
+ How many images can I expect, and what is the best thing to do with them?
You can expect around 100 professionally edited images per hour of coverage. The exact number depends on the unique length and unfolding of your story. The images are going to capture your all of the important moments, the details, and candid interactions in between. All packages include all of the best high resolution photos which are professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery for downloading and printing. You receive a print release and may print your photos anywhere. Your gallery includes access to my professional photo labs to ensure that your prints are of the best quality. Custom albums are available and I work with the best printers to ensure they are of quality and will last forever.
+ What type of equipment do you use?
I shoot with a professional, full frame dslr camera and mostly prime lenses. I'm a Canon shooter, and I carry backup equiptment. Currently in my camera bag: Canon R6, Canon 5D Mark III, 50mm, 35mm, 85mm, 135mm, and 24-70mm lenses, and godox flashes. (aka professional quality gear and lenses for every scenario).
I am comfortable with all lighting scenarious and will guide you to the best light and/or use lighting equiptment (flash) as needed to ensure you get the best images.
+ We want two photographers, is this an option?
Absolutely. I love working alongside other photographers to document your day from multiple angles. Having another photographer also allows us to be two places at once to capture both of you getting ready (if you get ready separately). I have a few close photographer friends that I love to work with and who I know will match my style and personality to ensure you get the best coverage.
+ How long do you stay?
As long as you want! Most people choose 8-10 hours of wedding day coverage, but I offer everything from a few hours to a full day. We will discuss your timeline early on and determine the best fit for your day. I'm happy to design a package that reflects your day.
+ Will you share our images on social media and your website?
Yes. The day after your wedding, I will post a sneak peek of about 20 images so that you can start to relive your day right away. You can also expect to see images from your day sprinkled through my social media and on my website, as I love to share my work and brag about how awesome my clients are. If you have any requests or concerns about privacy, we can chat and I will always honor them.
+ Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?
When you fill out your wedding worksheet, you can share any photography requests and your family portait lists. I always want to know which people and parts of the day mean the most to you. I will not recreate posed inspriational images, but I will find a way to capture your own pinterest-worthy pictures.
+ How long after the wedding will I get our gallery? Will they be viewable online?
Shortly after your wedding, I will post some sneak peeks online and feature your wedding in a blog post so you can immediately share and celebrate your marriage. 6-8 weeks after the wedding, you will receive your full gallery of edited images in an online gallery. From this gallery, you can view, share, download, and order prints of your images. If you add on an album, you will select your favorites from the gallery and I'll get started building a custom album that tells the story of your day.
+ How far will you travel for a wedding?
I am located in Collingswood, NJ. Up to an hour of travel is included in all of my wedding packages. However, I love to venture out to new destinations and would be happy to discuss my travel fees for farther destinations.
+ What information do you need from me before the wedding day?
All of it! Just kidding - sort of.
I love to get to know my couples so I am sure to document all of the moments and details that are most important to them. I will provide you with a detailed questionnaire to capture all of the important locations, times, and tidbits to ensure that your day goes off without a hitch. I swear, the more you share with me, the better your images are.
+ Do you include engagement photos in your packages?
I include an engagement session with all packages that are over 6 hours. I love getting to know my couples during an engagement session and it helps you to become more comfortable with the camera and find your favorite poses before the wedding day. I aim for engagement sessions to feel like a date where I'm just tagging along. Weddings have weekend scheduling priority, so engagement sessions take place on week days during peek months.
+ Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services? Will you photoshop me to look smaller, bigger, taller, tanner?
All of my images are professionally edited to match the style that you see on my website. I aim for a timeless editing style that feels true to life. Photoshopping to change your appearance is not available - but I will remove things that are temporary (like a pimple).
+ Will my photos be in color, or black and white, or both?
I personally love a combination of both. My style is to give images that reflect the lighting, mood, and circumstance. You can see a variety of this in my portfolio.
+ Can we get together to meet first?
Absolutely! I'd love to take you out for a drink or ice cream and answer any more questions you have in person. I live Collingswood, NJ. Send me a message and we'll schedule a time to meet!
