As soon as Kasey inquired, she knew that she wanted their engagement session to take place on her family farm. I was already sold, but then she shared that her and Jack met here, and it made it even more meaningful.

“My fiancé Jack and I have known each other our whole lives. We actually found some old photos where he was at my fifth birthday party haha. Both of Jack’s parents and my mom went to high school together and our moms were best friends. Jack and I started dating my senior year of high school after he started working on my parents dairy farm and we’ve been together ever since. Some of my favorite things about him are his super caring heart (he’ll give you the shirt off his back if he thought you needed it), his sense of humor and ability to ground me, our mutual love of going to antique shops and trying new food and beers, and of course his blue eyes.”

I drove out to Schuylkill Haven, PA just after a snow fall and it was 100% worth the trip. I’ll let the images do the rest of the talking, but I can’t wait for September to hang out with these two again - Kasey’s contagious smile and Jack’s ability to make her smile are everything.

After meeting the cows, we made the trek up to Kasey’s favorite spot on the farm - their camping ground that overlooks the entire property.

If your partner has a big beard, I think you’ll really relate to these next few photos.

I grew up on a farm and always remember how rough my Dad’s hands were, so these images feel super nostalgic for me.

Look carefully at the next photos. See the little white steeple in the distance between their faces? That’s where they are getting married. Love love love.

We ended their adventure session with Kasey’s beautiful horses. This entire session was so much fun, but this was definitely a highlight. From the location, their outfits, and the animals, this session screamed Kasey and Jack. There is nothing better than documenting you in the places that mean the most to you.
