the wedding experience

Ready to book your wedding with Bridget Massa Photography? Awesome! I can’t wait to meet you and learn more about your wedding plans. Let’s connect, tell me about the one you love, and we’ll gather all necessary information to prepare your contract and save your date. Typically, my couples book 15 - 9 months in advance. However, if you’re planning a short engagement or elopement, I’d love to talk more and check availability for your date.

+ Are you licensed and insured?

Absolutely! I'd be happy to provide proof of coverage to your venue if needed.

+ How far in advance do you book weddings?

Typically, couples initially inquire 9-15 months before their wedding date. I'm currently booking for all of 2019 and early 2020.

+ How would you describe your photography style?

+ What do you think distinguishes your work from that of other photographers?

+ How many images can I expect, and what is the best thing to do with them?

You can expect around 150 - 250 professionally edited images. The exact number depends on the unique length and unfolding of your story. The images are going to capture your story, the details, and your first moments with your child. All packages include all of the best hi-resolution photos which are professionally edited and delivered through an online gallery for downloading and printing. I also include a slideshow of selected images, set to music. You receive a print release and may print your photos anywhere. Many clients create albums, make small prints for a memory box, or a large print to hang in the nursery. You have the option to print through a professional photo lab, through your online gallery to ensure that your prints are of the best quality. I’d be happy to walk you through creating an album or have prints made and delivered to you.

+ What type of equipment do you use?

I shoot with a professional, full frame dslr camera and mostly prime lenses. I'm a Canon shooter, and I carry backup equiptment to cover any hiccups that could occur. Currently in my camera bag:(2) Canon 5D Mark III, 50mm 1.2, 35mm 1.4, and 85mm 1.8 prime lenses, and 600EX-RT flashes.

I'm a primarily natural light photographer, but am comfortable with flash and will use it as needed (typically for all receptions) to ensure you get the best images.

+ We want two photographers, is this an option?

Absolutely. I love working alongside other photographers to document your day from multiple angles. Having another photographer, also allows us to be two places at once to capture both of you getting ready (if you get ready separately). I have a few close photographer friends that I love to work with and who I know will match my style and personality to ensure you get the best coverage.

+ How long do you stay?

My wedding packages range from 8 to 12 hours. Most people choose 8-10 hours of wedding day coverage. We will discuss your timeline early on and determine the best fit for your day. If you are planning an initimate ceremony or elopement, I'm happy to design a package that reflects your needs.

+ Will you share our images on social media and your website?

I love sharing empowering images of birth. Through these images, we can change the way our culture views motherhood and birth. However, I absolutely respect families that wish to keep their birth images private. During our consultation, we'll discuss exactly what you do or don't want shared. For example, you may want crowning images for yourself, but prefer to not have these images shared publicly. I will always honor your requests for privacy.

+ Can I give you a list of specific shots we would like?

+ How long after the wedding will I get the proofs? Will they be viewable online? On a CD?

Shortly after your wedding, I will post some sneak peeks online and feature your wedding in a blog post so you can immediately share and celebrate your marriage. About 6 weeks after the wedding, you will receive your full gallery of edited images in an online gallery. From this gallery, you can view, share, download, and order prints of your images.

+ How far will you travel for a wedding?

I am located in Collingswood, NJ. Up to an hour of travel is included in all of my wedding packages. However, I love to venture out to new destinations and would be happy to discuss my travel fees for farther destinations.

+ What information do you need from me before the wedding day?

C-sections are births. Some hospitals allow for a photographer in the operating room, some do not, it depends on the situation and day. I encourage you to seek permission from your birth practitioner in advance whenever possible. If I am not allowed in the operating room, I will still be there to document your labor, getting ready for delivery, and after baby is born. If this is a concern, please let me know and we can chat more about this.

+ Do you include engagement photos in your packages?

I include an engagement session with all packages that are over 6 hours, and all weddings that are booked at least 4 months in advance. I love getting to know my couples during an engagement session and it helps you to become more comfortable with the camera and find your favorite poses before the wedding day.

+ Do you provide retouching, color adjustment or other corrective services? Will you photoshop me to look smaller, bigger, taller, tanner?

All of my images are professionally edited to match the style that you see on my website. I aim for a timeless editing style that feels true to life. Photoshopping to change your appearance is not available - but I will remove pesky pimples!

+ Will my birth photos be in color, or black and white, or both?

I personally love a combination of both. My style is to give images that work for that birth and the lighting, mood, and circumstance. You can see a variety ot this in my portfolio. If you have specific editing requests, please just ask.

+ Can we get together to meet first?

Absolutely! I'd love to take you out for coffee or ice cream and answer any more questions you have in person. I live Collingswood, NJ. Send me a message ( and we'll find a time to meet!
